CORPORATE MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE
Promotes and sells TV/FM/Web underwriting and sponsorships opportunities through direct customer contact within the First Coast area. Identifies prospective customers, schedules sales calls and is responsible for meeting individual sales goals.
General Duties
• Meet &/or exceed sales goals of TV/FM/Web underwriting and sponsorship opportunities;
• represent station at community networking events;
• maintain current client base;
• prospect for new clients;
• service accounts including writing copy, working with other integral departments as necessary to produce spots for traffic;
• complete all reports and paperwork as required within specified deadlines;
• attend and participate in all departmental and station meetings;
• understand and use radio and television research such as Arbitron and Nielsen.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Marketing/Communications &/or equivalent work experience;
• minimum of 2+ years sales/marketing experience, preferably in a business to business category selling an intangible service; broadcasting preferred;
• knowledge of, or familiarity with public television and radio;
• a successful track record of meeting &/or exceeding goals;
• strong oral and written communication skills;
• skilled in presentations to both individuals and groups;
• must have experience in dealing with business, corporations, and agencies on a professional level;
• proven customer service skills; ability to negotiate with tact and diplomacy;
• must have own transportation
• experience using Microsoft Office products preferred;
• strong problem solving/decision making skills
