Popular Duval-based hip-hop collective L.O.V.E. Culture celebrates the release of the group’s latest EP, Vol. 3, with a listening party at the Walrus in Murray Hill on Friday. 



Edwin McCain – Friday, January 5 

PV Concert Hall | Ponte Vedra

Billboard-charting singer and guitarist Edwin McCain – author of late-’90s soft-rock hits “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask For More” – plays the PV Concert Hall on Friday. 



Conrad Tao with the Jacksonville Symphony – Friday & Saturday, January 5 & 6  

Jacoby Symphony Hall | Downtown Jacksonville

Renowned pianist Conrad Tao once again joins the Jacksonville Symphony, this time to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Gershwin’s jazzy masterpiece Rhapsody in Blue. Two performances – Friday and Saturday.

The Walrus | Murray Hill 

Athens punk trio Shehehe plays the Walrus with local garage rockers Mercy Mercy and riffy-rock group Majestic Mother on Saturday.

Florida Theatre | Downtown Jacksonville

Jacksonville-founded classic-rock standouts 38 Special will have the Florida Theatre “Rockin’ Into the Night” on Friday.
