Does the 2016 election season have you feeling tired, discouraged or just plain apathetic? We’re here to help!
WJCT’s Generation Listen, the nonpartisan Jax Young Voters Coalition and the Elements of MOSH are teaming up to present Why Vote Jax 2, an election-themed listening party. Join us Friday, November 4 from 6:30-9 p.m. on the MOSH rooftop for a high-spirited evening filled with meaningful conversation, free food and beer, and great stories like the ones heard on our local NPR station, 89.9 WJCT-FM. Special thanks to MOSH for hosting Why Vote Jax 2.
Highlights include:
- Engaging WJCT and NPR radio stories with a refreshing take on politics
- A conversation about the importance of civic engagement and how you can make an impact in our community
- Free snacks and drinks (and who doesn’t like free stuff?)
- Prize giveaways

A quick note on alcohol:
- Don’t forget to bring a valid ID if you plan on drinking beer! Each 21+ guest will be given a wrist band.
- And for those of you who aren’t quite 21 yet, don’t sweat it! There will be plenty of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to go around (we won’t contribute to anyone’s delinquency).
