AARP FLORIDA presents American Masters – Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise

Select AARP members and others in the community are invited to a free screening of American Masters – Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise.

This is the first feature documentary about the incomparable Dr. Maya Angelou (1928-2014), best known for her autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. Distinctly referred to as “a redwood tree, with deep roots in American culture,” she gave people the freedom to think about their history in a way they never had before.

American Masters – Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise premieres on February 21, 2017. To find out more about this film, click the American Masters logo below.

Seating is first come first served. Should the event be full, please note that AARP is not required to provide you a ticket to a future show. Be sure to arrive at the event early.
