Some of the scariest aspects of caregiving are the “what’s next” and the unknown. Ailish O’Connor will present this Lunch & Learn as part of the CAREGIVING national initiative, which provides essential information on preparing for the legal challenges of caregiving, including drafting critical legal documents, navigating family conflicts, managing compensation and contracts, and addressing end-of-life concerns.
Ailish O’Connor earned her B.A. from Wellesley College in 1985, her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1990, and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1992. Since 1998, she has been Board Certified in Elder Law by the Florida Bar and certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is a long-time member and past President of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida. Ailish started her solo law practice in 2004, focusing on Medicaid, estate planning, pension benefits for war-time veterans, guardianship, probate, and related elder law issues.
