First Coast Forum
A quarterly series of interactive community forums designed to address critical challenges facing Florida’s First Coast and to engage the community in resolving them. Each program brings First Coast business and community leaders together for discussion, and gives community members an opportunity to weigh in. Launched in July 2001, the quarterly forums broadcast live on TV and radio.
On The Next First Coast Forum – Tapping The St. Johns
Aired Thursday, April 10 at 8pm, Simulcast on WJCT-TV and 89.9 FM
Proposed plans to solve Florida’s water crisis are evoking a murky debate over drawing millions of gallons of water from the St. Johns River for use in Central Florida. At issue are the environmental and economic impact this plan could make on Central and Northeast Florida. The next First Coast Forum examines this proposal and how it could affect growth, economics and the environment of our community.
