WJCT Launches “89 Nights of Mystery”

New Summer Radio Series Airs Weeknights on 89.9 WJCT-FM
(Jacksonville, FL, May 3, 2011); WJCT announces its new summer radio series, “89 Nights of Mystery,” which will air weekdays from midnight to 1 a.m. on 89.9 WJCT-FM. Featuring original radio mysteries from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, the series will include some of Hollywood’s greatest actors in adaptations of famous books and films. The series will begin on May 4 and will continue for 89 nights, concluding September 5 on Labor Day.
The first five programs are:
• To Have and Have Not, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall (May 4)
• Laura, starring Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews (May 5)
• Sorry, Wrong Number, starring Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster (May 6)
• Double Indemnity, a Raymond Chandler mystery starring Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck (May 9)
• Call Northside 777, starring James Stewart (May 10)
While the summer series airs, the Friday night rebroadcast of This Is Jazz will move to 1 a.m.
